In this assignment I had to design a back card, face card and a number card. I had to pick a specific art style and Art Deco is one that has always interested me. I did some research into this style and into the butterfly. After that research I started designing. I made the face card a monarch butterfly because it is known as the king of the butterflies. The numbered card has two different butterflies with the pattern on the wings. The other playing cards would continue in this style with multiple butterflies on each card with different patterns in the Art Deco style.
